Wedding at the Summerall Chapel on the Citadel Campus

Andrew Mille and I had another cello and guitar duo wedding this past weekend. This unusual combination has been getting increasingly more popular for both of us. The couple at the wedding in the Summerall Chapel on the historic campus of the Citadel chose unusual selections to say the least.  Our duo played the prelude music which included traditional selections like Air on the G String, Bach/Gounod -Ave Maria, and Vivaldi's Largo from Winter, along with popular selections like John Legend's All of me, All You Need is Love by the Beatles, and Christina Peri's A Thousand Years. The bride, who apparently was a big fan of the Movie Breakfast at Tiffany's then processed to Moon River, in a jazz waltz version played on the organ by Organist (and jazz singer) Nancy Lefter. For a special selection during the service, Andrew and I played our rendition of Mirrors by Justin Timberlake! Then to top it off, the trio of organ, cello and guitar then played Coldplay's Viva La Vida. Andrew and I followed this up with our Iz version of Over the Rainbow. I have to say, this was one of the more eclectic sets of selections we have played!
