Composer and Arranger

Composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Teves has been writing, producing, and performing music in a wide array of styles and mediums. His musical voice has been expressed through the intimate sounds of solo classical guitar (Maria Cristina Falls, 2017), large scale orchestral arrangements (Motown Fantasy, 2016, premiered by the North Charleston Pops!), music for the short film medium (Dustin and Hoffman, 2014, premiered at the Charleston Film Festival) and chamber music (Wild Things, suite for 14 chamber winds) Always seeking new palettes of musical color, he’s produced tracks in his home studio which have incorporated combinations of purely electronic sounds (When I Close My Eyes, 2015), electric guitars with computer generated sounds (Stars on a Winter Sky, 2015), and folk inspired tracks with guitars, mandolin, ukulele, and bass (Winter Woods, 2015.)
